Submission Guidelines:

1. All visual artists working in any painting or drawing medium of all ages  are eligible to participate.
2. Application deadlines for the shows will always be 10 days prior to the scheduled show date(s)..  Applications can be filled out online and submitted or right clicked and printed from www.ArtsyAngels.net/application.html.  Applications must be filled out completely and sent to the Artsy Angels’ address listed or sent as an email attachment to: jcdelk@artsyangelsgallery.com with “Art Show Application” in the subject line. If the subject line does not contain “Art Show Application,” the email may be deleted.  A photo of the submitted piece(s) must be included.
3. Two pieces may be submitted at a cost of $10 per piece, and the fee must be sent to Artsy Angels no later than the application deadline, 10 days prior to the show start date. (There is no fee for Artsy Angels’ students or ANY OTHER STUDENT’S submissions). Artsy Angels does not accept credit cards online. All artwork must be brought into the Artsy Angels Studio and Gallery no later than 3 days prior to the show's start date to be entered into the judging, unless otherwise notified. Any artwork not submitted by that date will forfeit the entry fee.
4. All artwork must be the unique, original work of the artist.
5. All paintings and drawings must be properly framed with the following labels:

                Back Label must include the following information and attached to the bottom center of the back of the piece:

·         Title

·         Artist Name

·         Year Completed

·         Size

·         Medium Used

·         Reference Source

                Front Label must be index card sized, attached to the bottom left front of the painting and include the following information:

·         Title

·         Year Completed

·         Size

·         Medium Used

·         Reference Source

·         Price (List NFS if piece is NOT for sale)

6. All framed artwork must have a wire attached to the back for proper hanging.
7. No piece that has been previously submitted for an Artsy Angels’ sponsored show may be submitted.
8. Artsy Angels and/or their staff, assignees or agents will not be held liable for any damage or injury incurred to any person or personal property at the place the show is being held or at the Artsy Angels Studio and Gallery property before, during or after the art show.  No exceptions.
9. Any artwork on consignment with Artsy Angels and sold at an Artsy Angels' sponsored show or at the Artsy Angels Studio and Gallery will be charged a 28% commission fee over and above the artist’s sale price.
10. Entry fees are non-refundable.
11. The judges’ decisions will be final.

ARTSY ANGELS' ART SHOWS JUDGING CRITERIA

Criteria:

Creativity/Originality:                            20 pts.

Technical Expertise (Use of Medium):  20 pts

Color Usage (Automatic 15 Pts.

   For Monochromatic Work)               15 pts.

Use of Contrast & Shading:                                                   15 pts.

Expressive design:                                  10 pts.

Definition:                                                10 pts.

Emotional Content:                                10 pts.

          Total Possible Points:                     100
